What is a decal? And tell us why you love to work with Vinyl Decals & Stickers so much?

A decal is a design that has been produced in order to be transferred to another surface, simply a decorative sticker.
It’s quick! Vinyl decals are such an easy solution to update your smooth, interior walls. Our high-quality vinyl decals will stay beautiful on your walls for many years, however, when you are ready for a change you can easily peel them away and no residue will be left behind. We also love the flexibility it gives the decorator. Each design can be customised by the colour combination chosen as well as by the layout used. For example, the design can be spaced evenly over a whole wall to create a wall-paper effect or grouped in one spot to create a focal point above a chest of drawers, table or headrest.

Tell us more about this Brushstroke Cluster Wall Decal Design?

This vinyl decal design has been inspired by the beautiful graphic elements of the Giraffe hide and is part of our Wild at Heart – An African Inspired Collection. It consists of 'Imperfect' strokes, that together create an organic cohesive design. The 'decal clusters' can be used as laid out on the pre-cut sheet or you can separate them and create your own layout. In the image here, Bertine from @lieve.mats.en.mama added a modern, natural focal point in her nursery by combining our grey decals with the neutral colour elements in the room. Each packet includes 2 SHEETS of Brushstroke Cluster Wall Decals - Each sheet contains 4 clusters of 6 ‘brushstrokes’ each.

Tell us more about the process behind designing a new collection?

Usually, I plan out the collections for the New Year in advance. However, when inspiration suddenly hits , I just roll with it. That is the advantage of being an entrepreneur; you can move very fast and the only thing holding you back is yourself. It is always very exciting to see which products are most loved and which one becomes the best seller. Whilst in this creative process, from the initial design to the final photographs, I am much focussed and I struggle to think about anything else until the collection has been released. The process is not always the same. It has happened that I went out for a walk and by the time I came back I have planned a whole new collection. Creativity is a beautiful thing, there are no borders and no hours.
