I just wanted different stories to read to my little daughter. I had no doubt about the great impact a story would have on children at the unconscious level. I wanted to convey important aspects of life through a warm and friendly character that could show the little world, the little things, to children. I myself had experienced a great change in consciousness and was on the search for self-knowledge, and I just found that a water drop cartoon was perfect to stop this frantic and fast world, to call people´s attention to a story or subject that may be interesting and important in life, simply to achieve self-knowledge and wellbeing. So this was an opportunity to bring human sciences and art together.
“What we know is merely a drop in the ocean; what we ignore is the ocean itself”. Pomela, an amusing little droplet with a thirst for knowledge, has an idealistic yet sensible perspective and entertains us through science and art. Immersed in her illustrations, vignettes, comic strips and animations, this character will show us the world of little things, the one we don’t usually see… And if we want to see it, we’ll have to get a bit wet!
